2010 - (11.05-11.09) - (Afvent invitation) - SILBA Election Observation of the Parliament Election in Azerbaijan

SILBA will attemp to find funding for a fullly accredited Election Observation Mission to Azerbaijan in connection with the ordinary Parliament Election in Azerbaijan.

SILBA had a group of observers from Denmark, Lithuania and Belarus as observers during the Parliament Election in 2005. The Election Observation in 2005 was organised by SILBAs Azeri partner "ALYA". 

Please note that SILBA (in general) is NOT looking for applications from individuals from all over Europe to become election observers. We prefer to cooperate with our partner organisations, getting long term cooperative effects in addition to the valuable contribution that one additional observer gives. So please don't send us long letters descriping why we should bring you particular as an observer. It's never a problem to find volunteer observers. The problems is to find funding...

Once we have found the funding, invitations will be send out to SILBAs own Danish members and to SILBAs partner organisations in selected countries.
