| SILBA Miniseminar in Tbilisi with The Georgian Republican Youth |

SILBA had five participants on a EU Youth "Youth Exchange" held in the Eastern Turkish city of Mus from 01.03 to 08.03. considering the very eastern location of Mus, the returnroute of the Danes goes back through Tbilis, Georgia.
In Georgia the Danish group, lead by Jens-Kristian Lütken (who is a candidate for the European Parliament Election for the Danish Liberal Party) will meet with representatives from the Georgian Government and Parliament members from the Foreign Affairs Committee discussing the current tensions with Russia and the military build up in Abkhazia and South Ossetia as well as the general political situation in post-war Georgia.
Jens-Kristian Lütken also intend to visit both the wartorn city of Gori and if possible the Russian Occupied South Ossetia.
Monday 9th of March the Danish group will hold a miniseminar with the members of the Georgian Republican Youth. The Georgian Republican party is a liberal-conservative party in opposition to the conservative-liberal Saakashvili party.
The miniseminar is held as a part of SILBAs new added value stategy, where the participation of Danish SILBA members in Youth seminars in our focus countries, are used to hold additional one-day miniseminar in direct continuation of the original seminar. This way our local partners gets international seminars for free and our own members gets an added value to their trip, by training and meeting other local youth organisations.
