Exit polls from 15 different polling stations in Kvermo Kartlian region show that the ruling Georgian party, United National Movement won the parliamentary elections. The Danish organization SILBA, has been observing the elections in Marneuli, Rustavi and Gardabani constituencies.
"Our exit poll clearly shows, that the United National Movement won by a land-slide in the Parlamentary Elections i Georgia", Jonas Kjaergaard Jepsen from SILBA told at a press conference in Rustavi the day after the elections.
Both national and local media took part in the press conference.
The SILBA did not observe any serious violations during the elections.
"No severe violations were observed during the poll. However, some observations showed that the voters tried to infringe the regulations", Anders Laursen from SILBA told the media.
A more detailed report about the observation and exit polls will be uploaded to this site very soon.
